MORE THAN a year before the actual vote, left-wing publications are already filled with discussions about Election 2004. The reason is obvious--millions of people feel an urgent need to get George W. Bush and his fellow right-wing, pro-war Republicans out of the White House. But will the Democratic candidate in 2004 deserve the left's support? And should the left abandon any third-party campaign to try to ensure that Bush is beaten? Here, Socialist Worker prints two different viewpoints on Election 2004:
